Merry Christmas 2009!

Christmas this year was a bit different than it has been the last 5 years. We had the whole family over and we did it potluck style. We had fun watching Callin, Ocean and Ava open thier gifts. We didn't do the usual secret santa game but that's okay, we had a super game of scattergories toward the end of the day. Here's some pics! By the time I remembered to do the group photo, I couldn't convince the family to pose, they were NOT into it at all. We did get the most awesome slippers from My stepmom~ THANK YOU HAHN!

Merry Christmas Eve 2009!

Jimmy and I kinda have a tradition to have a quiet Christmas eve with just the 2 of us! We had a great day together. Cinnamon rolls and hot coffee started the day. The day ended with homemade meatballs and spaghetti with lots of WINE! Here's some pics.

More of Tam and Pierre in town!

We had such a fun time with Tam, Pierre and Sebastian. After a long day in Flag, we stopped for dinner at one of our favorite places- Oregano's for dinner (we picked up Mark and took him with). We trekked down the mountain late (8pm). The next day, Tamara, Michelle and I went and got our nails and toes done. The boys watched the kids almost the entire day (thanks Pierre and Jimmy)! Tamara and I then headed out for some Christmas shopping! Then we hit Costco for our family dinner. The family collaborated on a fantisic dinner of New York Steaks, potatoes, salad, and lots of WINE! Sebastian and Callin hit it off and both LOVE trains. They watched Polar Express about a dozen times that day and played well together! Tam and Pierre, when are you moving to AZ? Jimmy asked them that and they quickly changed the subject. We sure do wish we lived closer though!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas.
Christmas was a balmy 76 degrees here so we just enjoyed the day.
Miss and love you all.

Friday = Fun day in Flagstaff!

We packed up the truck and dressed in our warm clothes and headed up north where there was a lot of snow! Had lunch at Cracker Barrell, got a sled and headed to Wing Mountain snow play area. This location is THE BEST, there's a snack bar and a place to sit by a campfire! Here's some pics of our adventure.

Mollie Girl is a working girl!

Our friends Tamara, Pierre and their son Sebastian arrived last Thursday for a long weekend with us in the valley. It's been so nice hanging out with them. We've done a lot and these are the first of the pics I have taken (over 100). We went and visited Mollie at Starbucks for a hot chocolate before we went and looked at some Christmas lights.

What an angel

This dog had quite a night last night! I was woken up at 330 am by this guy! For some reason I could hear him in the office from upstairs. He was sick all over his dog bed and I was the lucky one that got to clean it up. He went outside and ate some grass and was fine. Ugh- who says I don't have babies of my own???

A Love Story.........

Okay, I am sure you are all wondering, "Where are those corny dog pictures that Mel likes to post?" Here's what you have been waiting for! Last night after a LONG day, we were relaxing by the fire when Rosie decided to cuddle. Man, it was the perfect Kodak moment. I HAD to take pics. James was not entirely cooperative but I am glad I got the pics that I did.

Hotel under construction

It was a crazy week last week. The Hyatt closed it's doors for 6.5 days! A lot was done and the lobby is BRAND NEW- here's some in process pics! More pics to come.
