Sam cuts the MOP!

It's been a long time coming and James' finally dropped the hammer on Sam to get his hair cut- as seen from previous posts his hair was LONG!!! See here his new do. He's not thrilled about it since girls LOVED his long mop~ not sure what girls he's referring to, but we will take his word for it... I took so many pics because he was too embarrassed to let me take his pic...

Jace is growing up!

Jace is growing up fast and now has two teeth on the bottom. He is always on the move and gets into everything he finds. LOL.

He is so much fun. We miss everyone.

Friday Night at the game

James B-day would not be complete if we didn't go to a D-backs game and it just so happens that they were playing his other favorite team- The Padres! It was a great game. Before the game, James, Sam and I went to a sports bar for some snacks and drinks. Check out James's D-backs shirt- notice anything cool?

James Birthday at home with the Family

Friday was James' birthday. We hung out and worked around the house. I got my hair cut and he went shopping with his neice Michelle. Then at 3pm we had cake (I made a carrot cake for him) with Michelle, Aranna and the kids. Here are some pics and video. Later that night we went to the D-backs game with Sam- the D-backs won- check out the post for that fun time...

Happy Birthday James!!!!!

On Friday, April 18th James celebrated a birthday! On Thursday we went to his favorite place for dinner- Texas Roadhouse. Norm, Aranna (his mom), Rossana (my assistant) and the kids were there. James didn't want anyone to sing for him but instead we gave him a "Texas sized, Yeehaw!" It was funny. The waiter brought over a saddle and James was a really good sport.

Manager of the Quarter?

Yes, Yours truly, Melanie Malone won Manager of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2008! I guess this means I am doing a pretty good job here at the Front Desk! Whew- I was pretty surprised and I guess you could say I was, 'Shocked and Awed'. I will try to get a shocked pic of me posted soon!

White Water Rafting on the Salt River!

This is by far the most fun Manager's outing I have been a part of in my almost 8 years with Hyatt! A fun time was had by all! It is something I could easily become addicted to- that's how cool it is. The only bummer is that the season here is from Mar- May so there is only a short window to go. Check out the pics! Can you find James in the first pic? Mel in the 2nd? We went on Monday, April 14th- A great start to the week! Michelle, Callin and Ocean were waiting for us to come home from work!

We were pleasantly surprised when we came home and Michelle and family were there! We got to visit and play with the baby. Callin was born August 8, 2007!

We sat on the 3rd baseline- 7 rows from the field. It was AMAZING!!!! Even though the Dodgers Lost- actually got killed- it was still fun.

Diamond Backs Vs. Dodgers, Opening Day 2008!

James gave me the ultimate gift of Opening Day Tickets. Why? You ask. Because I love BASEBALL and the Dodgers are my team. My Dad would take me to Dodger stadium growing up. I have always loved baseball since birth. I go to a baseball game any chance I get. We took a bzillion pictures and video so, if you aren't a baseball fan, just try to humor me and check them all out.

Sebastian was such a trooper before, during and after the baptism! He was just so adorable! He wore the cutest little beige suite (matching his Dad's). Then after the plunge he wore the cutest little white outfit.
