We had a blast! Gainey Vineyard is our first stop every year. They have great wines and AZ ties. We got to take a tour and learn a lot about the growing of the grapes and processing, etc.

In all, we visiting 7 wineries in a short amount of time. We also stopped off at a new beach campsite in Carpinteria. Planning to do some camping next year. 
Last Friday we all set out for cooler temps and good times. We went to the beach almost everyday. 
Jimmy and Norm went fishing on Monday. They caught a lot of fish. Norm won the biggest fish contest! I have about 20 pounds of fish in my freezer to prove it. I have more beach day pics on the camera. It's upstairs and I am too lazy to go get it... Guess my posts will be out of order.
Last Thursday Aranna made dinner for us and we celebrated Uncle Corky's birthday. He turns 82 next week. 
Sam is in Bethesda, MD and we got to Facetime with him tonight. You can see here, Jimmy looking at Sam via the IPAD. Sam's internet connection was a little slow but it was still cool to see and hear Sam. It just amazes me to think about how far we have come with regards to technology. Makes you wonder about what we did before cell phones, internet and social media!
We invested in a hop on hop off tour of san fran and got a pretty good deal. Of course this is the palace of fine arts.

This is a pic taken while in Sausalito. Very hip, cool, crowded place. Pretty much everywhere we went, there was a crowd. Not sure when to go to avoid that. Any insight?
