Norm's New Toy

Norm got a Cobra Tandem Kayak! We are loving the trips up the Wailua River and using it at the beach.

Marissa is now getting into spear-fishing and she and Phil caught an octopus yesterday.

Welcome To The World Hayden

We decided to have a Welcome to the World Party for Hayden. Invited our friends and neighbors for a BBQ. Everyone brought different foods and it was a great time. Hayden was able to meet all the people who will be in her life while we are here on Kauai.

The Big Fish

Norm, Marissa and Phil went fishing on Sunday. The boys didn't catch much but Marissa landed the big one of the day. We were going to eat it but we now know that we should not let Phil try to filet any fish.

Michelle and Baby Ava come over to visit

We came home from work on Friday and Michelle and Ava were there hanging out. We haven't seen them in quite some time so it was nice to catch up and hold the little munchkin. Michelle said that Ava just had some shots and she is now 13 pounds. She was born on Jan 5th and is just so cute. Callin was at home with his dad. I hope we get to see that little guy soon!

Spring Training never gets old!

Game #4 for Mel and Game #3 for James. We met our good friends Adam and Shannon at the Marriott at the Buttes. We had lunch then skipped next door to the game. It was sooooo crowded. It was awesome catching up with our friends and people watching. I still can't get over how crowded it was. The game last Thursday probably had 1/4 the number of people. Thank you Adam and Shannon for spending part of your Sunday with us! We love you!

More Spring Training

Today was my first day off since March 3rd! It was nice but always too short. I went out to Camelback Ranch with Rossana to catch a Dodgers game. The World Baseball Classic brought Korea to Glendale, AZ. We sat in the lawn and soaked in the sun. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze. We are definitely staying busy!

The Family

Hi Everyone,

Finally got another camera (the old one got lost at Waimea Town Days carnival). My new camera is a Sony Digital SLR and I am trying to learn to use it.

Jace is now 18 months old and growing like a weed. Hayden is a month old. They are doing well.

Grandpa (Norm) is still finding a little bit of time to keep his dirt bike in running condition.

I Love the LA Dodgers!

Today James and I took the day off of work and went and saw the LA Dodgers take on the Padres at the Peoria Sports Complex. Our seats were about 4 rows from the field, close to the Dodgers Dugout. It was a lot of fun. The Dodgers won 5-4. The plan this year is to take James to a Dodgers game and Dodgers Stadium- there is no place like it. I have been to all west coast stadiums including the King Dome in Seattle, that was imploded years ago and Coors Field in Denver- Dodger Stadium is by far the best! Spring Training Fever

On Sunday, we went to a Spring Training game out at the new facility for the Dodgers and White Socks. It's called Camelback Ranch. It's a great facility but we only had 2 lawn seat tickets. The traffic getting there was frustrating then, James and Sam stood in line for 1/3 of the game to get 2 other tickets. We had a nice time. It was hot, got a little sun. And we are going again today! We took the day off of work to see the Dodgers and Padres!
