Welcome to San Francisco!

Jimmy and I arrived on Sunday, July 8th to the Fog City.  This was the view from our room.
On Monday, Jennifer picked us up and drove us to Sonoma Valley wine country.  This was our first stop- the visitor center.
Jimmy had his heart set on Sebastiani Winery.  They had great wines.
These pics were taken at our last stop- Robledo Winery.  It is the first owned and operated winery by immigrant Mexicans.  Luis, the son of Reynaldo was working the tasting room and we had a great time tasting all of the wines.

Seattle pics

This is the view from our room in Seattle.  We were upgraded and also had Regency Club Access!
Our first day we got to see some live bands in Pioneer Square!
On our Anniversery we were at Chateau Ste. Michelle for the Steve Miller Band concert.

Vacation!

Jimmy and I headed out to Seattle on Thursday, Julyb 5th.  We hit the ground running as soon as we got there.  We walked to Pikes Public Market, had Ivars fish and chips and then decided to do the night version of the underground tour.  The next day we got up and drove to Snoqualmie Falls.  It was just breathtaking!

Welcome home Sam!

We always look forward to Sam's leave when he can come home and spend time with Family.  Now that he's 21, Jimmy and him enjoyed a brewski together.  Pictured below is Matt.  We had dinner with Matt and Deb last week.  We gotta enjoy the time with Sam while we have it.  He also said that he believes that he will get some time off over Christmas and will be able to spend it at home!

Cute as a button!

Meet Bea!  This is my friend Laurie's new dog!  She is a westie/Poodle mix.  She is a lover and a cuddler.  We are watching her this week.  She arrived on Sunday night and her and Rosie are famous friends.  The first night was a little rough.  This little buddy didn't want to be isolated from the humans.  She yapped her way into our bed.  Sleep is overrated right?  Last night was much better.  We came home from work, you could tell that she had been running around playing and she was pooped!  James plan worked- put the dogs outside, and get upstairs before she realizes you're gone.  She may have cried for a moment but she was too tired to bark for us.  Well rested humans and canines woke up bright and shiney on Tuesday.  Since Bea is a lap dog, Rosie now tries to be a lap dog.  There is about a 40 pound difference between these to though.

Congratulations April!

We are so proud of April for graduating from Nursing school.  We went to her graduation last night and really enjoyed the ceremony.  Each graduate got to pre-record a message that was played while they were pinned.  Enjoy the pics- First pic from Top:  Grannaran, April and Jimmy, next pic, grannaran and April, mel, grannaran, april and Jimmy, Michelle, Jimmy and Mollie

Jimmy's birthday

It's a big day here at the homestead- Jimmy is another year older! So, we have been getting ready for dinner- I have spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove and jimmy and the dogs are napping. I also made a carrot cake for dessert. Looking forward to seeing family and friends tonight! Jimmy got a new helmet for his birthday too. Check it out!
